Written and Directed by Ralph Staub in 1939, this excellent short shows a dwarf village on Hollywood's Wilshire Boulevard. A bench is dedicated in honour of the late Lon Chaney. A visit to Leo Carrillo's new ranch is offered. Hollywood notables appear at an Academy Awards banquet honouring outstanding films. Miliza Korjus gives a wondeful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Jerome Kern presents the music award. Little Shirley Temple stands on a chair to present Walt Disney with a unique statuette honouring 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' - a full size Oscar with an attached pedestal for seven miniature Oscars, one for each dwarf. Bette Davis arrives with William Wyler. Edgar Bergen presents miniature Oscars to Deanna Durbin and Mickey Rooney. Among the presenters are Sir Cedric Hardwicke and Tyrone Power.
