Ada Durbin was the mother of Deanna. Ada was born in Chester, England on the 8th of December, 1885.

Even though the Durbins had a cook, Ada still liked to bake. She specialized in the little mince pastries she learned to make when she was a bride and the little chocolate cookies decorated with half-cherries or chopped nuts which were favourites with Edith and Deanna.

Ada Durbin
Ada Durbin was a wonderful mother who did her very best to help Deanna achieve success.

After living at 10468 Lindbrook Drive in Los Angeles, Ada Durbin and her husband moved to Leisure World (Laguna Woods Village) which is a retirement community in California. She passed away on the 10th of June, 1972.
